The assignment for this project requires selecting a medium (video, illustration, drawing, sculpture, workshop, performance,...) to visualize the central argument and main points of a reading article.
This mini zine illustrating Plan International Australia's report 'A Right To The Night' takes the readers through the narrative and the lens of Australian women facing the fear and insecurity of sexual harassment in public spaces that curtails their rights to commute to those areas equally. It also sheds light on the gender inequality and discrimination against women stemming from the ingrained rape culture and the pervasive patriarchal system that condones men to continue sexually assaulting female victims without being blamed for their actions but the women instead.
